JAMIE Kavanagh is shipping back to Boston and will fight for a second time in the House of Blues on June 5.
The 23 year old lightweight had asked promoters Golden Boy to bring him back to the east coast after enjoying a win and a massive reception the last time he fought in New York on St Patrick’s Day.
‘The Nuisance’s’ wish has been granted and after an impressive eight round victory over Andres Navarro on March 17 and looks to be back in line to continue his rise up the lightweight ladder. Now, he looks to capture the attention of Boston’s loyal fans again and make this his second home against an opponent to be determined in an eight round battle.
Another Irish pugilist hoping to capture the eye of the Boston fight fans on the June 5 card will be Gary “Spike” O’Sullivan as he faces off against Quincy, Massachusetts’ Jose Medina.
