WATCH: Katie Taylor accidentally leaves rival promoter hanging at first world title head-to-head

Katie Taylor came face-to-face with her upcoming world title opponent this afternoon in Cardiff.

Argentina’s WBA lightweight champion Anahi Esther Sanchez was in town for the fight at the Principality Stadium on the Joshua-Takam pay-per-view undercard and the two faced off for the first time following the conclusion of the final press conference.

There was also an awkward moment when Sanchez’s promoter Sampson Lewkowicz came over for a photo – but his offer of a handshake was not picked up by Taylor.
