Jono Carroll [11(1)-0] has been handed a new fight date as he ups his level of activity under MGM Marbella.

The Finglas-Dunshaughlin super featherweight has been added to the MGM Scotland ‘Capital Punishment’ bill next Saturday (October 29th) at the Meadowbank Sports Centre in Edinburgh.

The Scottish scrap will be Carroll’s second in two months, having outpointed Simas Volosinas over four rounds on September 24th.

The fight will keep ‘King Kong’ busy ahead of a move towards titles in the new year, and a potential rematch with stablemate Deco Geraghty, whom he shared the BUI 2014 Fight of the Year award with.

An opponent for next Saturday’s bout has not yet been confirmed.
