John Joe Nevin reveals next fight date

LONDON 2012 hero John Joe Nevin will return to the ring as early as December 13.

The Mullingar Shuffler will fight for the fourth time as a pro in New York on the same night as Andy Lee challenges for a World title in Las Vegas.

The bout will be Nevin’s fourth as a pro and his third since he returned from a horrific double leg break.

One of Ireland’s greatest amateurs told his local paper the Westmeath Examiner,

“I haven’t been told who it is yet – but I’m really looking forward to it,” said Nevin, who beat Jack Heath in a round earlier this month.

“They’ve to tell me yet where the fight is taking place: I just know it’s in New York.” –
