New fight date for John Hutchinson

Donegal light middleweight John Hutchinson [8(2)-2(0)-1] will continue his overseas adventure next month.

The Buncrana banger has relocated to the Thai island of Phuket, and will box on St Patrick’s Day in Australia.

The MTK-backed Irish title hopeful kicked off his 2017 with a first round knockout win in Bangkok last month, and this rather prompt return to the ring is encouraging.

The venue on Friday March 17th will be the WA Italian Club in Perth where Hutchinson will face a to-be-confirmed opponent.

The CDL Boxing Promotions card is headlined by Wes Capper, and will also feature Jamie Weetch, Mick Lance, and Jacob Santoro.
