Jamie Kavanagh to top MGM Boxnation broadcast Dublin show?
MGM and Boxnation will return to Dublin on November 7 according to speculation today.
Former Golden Boy lightweight Jamie Kavanagh will top a bill which looks set to play host to an abundance of Dublin prospects.
‘The Nuisance’ has returned to Europe after operating Stateside for the majority of his 18-1-1 career and will make his Dublin and Irish debut at the National Stadium a venue he had success at as an under age amateur.
Jamie Conlan, who is rumoured to top a Belfast MGM card before the year is out, increased his profile massively winning a Fight of the Year candidate live on Boxnation at the home of Irish boxing early in the year and the former Wild Card puncher will be hoping to do the same.
A good win and performance could see the Dubliner become another talked about lightweight name in Ireland and Britain.
Dean Byrne expects to fight ‘Connemara Kid’ Peter McDonagh on the bill, while Ian Tims and Micheal Sweeney are said to have agreed to rematch their 2011 Irish title fight at the Stadium.
‘Big Sexy’ Sean Turner, Declan Geraghty, Anthony Fitzgerald, David Maguire, Jake Hanney, Sean Creagh, Craig O’Brien and fellow MGM puncher Ciaran Mullen will also be hopeful of making an appearance on the card.
