Jamie Conlan will return to the ring in London in April.

‘The Mexican’ will fight on the undercard of Billy Joe Saunders first defence of the WBO title he beat Andy Lee to secure in December at the Copper Box on April 30.

The well supported super flyweight contender will take on a yet to be confirmed opponent on the Boxnation broadcast show.

Conlan, who had to pull out of the proposed Dublin February 5 show before it was cancelled through injury, is closing in on a mouth watering clash with Liverpools Paul Butler.

Indeed, this looks likely to the be the undefeated Conlan’s final warm up fight for a Butler clash he has been asking for for a number of years.
