Jamie Conlan off Carl Frampton bill
JAMIE Conlan has pulled out of his scheduled bout on the undercard of Carl Frampton’s IBF World title defence against Chris Avalos set for the Odyssey on February 28.
The Belfast super-flyweight is down with illness and as a result won’t defend his WBO Inter-continental title against Warlito Parrenas on the bill.
The fight between the highly ranked duo, which could have acted as a World title eliminator may happen once Conlan recovers.
The disappointment will also be offset somewhat by the fact IBF super flyweight title challenger Paul Butler is open to a clash with ‘The Mexican’.
