Carl Frampton kicked off his fight week activities by giving back to the community by visiting Opportunity Village in Las Vegas.

Former two-weight world champion, Frampton is back in action for the first time in nearly a year when he faces unbeaten Tyler McCreary (16-0-1, 7 KOs) at the Cosmopolitan, live on BT Sport and ESPN+.

‘The Jackal’ had a busy Tuesday morning, as he headed to Opportunity Village, a not-for-profit organisation serving adults in the Southern Nevada community with intellectual and related disabilities to enhance their lives.

Frampton, alongside former world champion Oscar Valdez, met with residents at the facility, handing out gifts and presents ahead of Thanksgiving later this week.

“It really puts things into perspective being here, and it was great to come down and see the fantastic things that the staff are doing here,” said Frampton.

“The staff are a credit to themselves for all the hard work that they do, and I was honoured to be here and help in any way I could.”

Frampton’s fight with McCreary on Saturday is part of a big Top Rank event on Saturday, that also features the return of Oscar Valdez, as he goes up against Andres Gutierrez.
