Irish duo signed for Prizefighter III

There will be plenty of Irish interest in the latest instalment of Prizefighter, which takes place on October 2 in Londons York Hall.

Lisburns Scott Belshaw and Galways Coleman Barrett are among the eight men hoping to follow in Martin Rogans footsteps and walk away with the 32,000 prize.

However, victory will be no easy feat as some of the biggest names on the British scene will also be hoping to kickstart their careers via the Barry Hearn vehicle.

Among them are Audley Harrison, Michael Sprott and Danny Williams men who have engaged in some of the biggest British and Commonwealth title fights of recent years. In fact, Williams remains the British heavyweight champion a title he will most likely be relieved of if he loses in the knockout competition.
