Ireland team for European Schoolboy Championships + Past Medalists

The Irish Schoolboys squad flew out to Croatia this morning for the European Schoolboys Championships in Zagreb.

18 Irish fighters, one at each available weight, will fight in the Adriatic state at the fourteenth edition of the Championships.

The competition is for boxers between the ages of 13 and 14 (born between January 1, 2002 and December 31, 2003).

Ireland have won medals at all thirteen previous tournaments, totalling 71 medals, 11 of which were gold, and the medal list is a who’s who of Irish boxing talent (Full list below).
