The Cork middleweight has planted smackers on fighters he had no love for in Chris Eubank Jr and Anthony Fitzgerald in the run up to recent grudge bouts.

The lead into any ‘King Kane’ versus ‘Spike’ fight will be amicable to say the least. The pair have struck up a friendship and a hold a mutual respect for each other.

“You must be joking! I am that nice before fights I give my opponents kisses. I am the nicest guy in the World building up to fights,” continued Spike before discussing his relationship with O’Kane.
“I like him he is a very nice fella. He was up sparring here when he was preparing for his Irish title fight with Anthony Fitzgerald fight and I met his brother and his father. They are a lovely family and very respectful so if we fight I can see it being all civil until we are in the ring.”
