Ian Tims given short-notice birthday bout
Ian Tims [12(3)-3(2)] will hope to make it a happy 37th birthday this coming weekend.
The veteran Clondalkin cruiserweight has been added to the MGM Liverpool ‘Christmas Cracker’ show on Sunday December 4th, his birthday, at the Devonshire House Hotel on Merseyside.
Tims will be looking to claim his second win of 2016 since signing with MGM at the end of the Summer. ‘The Tank’ has also rejoined old trained Phil Sutcliffe Sr, and looked impressive last month on the MHD Promotions ‘Another Level’ show in Belfast
An opponent for Tims will be announced in then coming days.
Timsey wont be the only Dublin big man on the show either, with Sean ‘Big Sexy’ Turner also scheduled to appear.
Also featuring on the bill will be Gerard Carroll, Ryan Moorhead, Steven Lewis, John Quigley, and Sam Maxwell.
