Hurricane ready to take American by storm- Hogan ready to rise at the Falls
BIG punching Tyrone Brunson will provide the opposition for Kildare’s Dennis Hogan as he fights Stateside for the second time.
‘The Hurricane’ took Australia by storm winning Regional, Domestic and Continental from his Oz base before fighting in America for the first time late last year. Hogan, who is hoping to push onto the World scene in 2015, returns to America on March 4 and will try and win American fight fans when he trades leather at Seneca Niagara Casino and Hotel, Niagara Falls, New York in a bout that will be broadcast live on TV.
Hogan felt Jose Miguel Rodriguez Berrio, who was disqualified for holding, prevented him from displaying his skills last time out, but knows Brunson will come to fight.
“I am pumped to announce fight number 22 will be against American Tyrone Brunson 22 wins with 21 knockouts at Seneca Casino Niagra Falls. It will be shown across America live on TV,” Hogan said on social Media.
“I can’t wait to get over there and show them what I got and I know this lad wont be in the ring trying to hold me to death . I am going to put on the performance of my life-guaranteed!”
Whilst Hogan will be favourite against 30 old Brunson, the American with 21 KO’s in 22 wins will always remain dangerous. He took a break from boxing after he lost to Carson Jones in 2009 and lost all but one of his fights since his return However, sandwiched between loses is a first round KO win demonstrating the light middleweight still packs a punch.
