Hogan to become King of Queensland
By Jonny Stapleton
Denis Hogan continues his adventure in OZ tomorrow night as he takes on 42 year old veteran Glen Fitzpatrick(14-16-2) at the Broncos Leagues Club in Brisbane on Friday night.
The Kildare native, tipped the scales at 74.5kg’s today, makes his sixth Australian

appearance and will hope to brush aside his older opponent in a bid to make it six paid fights without defeat in a bout that shares co feature status with  Alex “The Lionheart” Leapai (23-3-3) and Russian giant, Evgeny Orlov (13-9-1) 8 round heavyweight clash.
However the Hurricane could collect more than just another win on his record. He has the chance to become king of Queensland as he challenges for the Queensland Super Middleweight Title.
Hogan is favoured going into the bout with his youth being a major factor while Fitzpatrick hasn’t tasted victory since 2004.
