Hogan and Moxton now battle for the WBA Oceania title

IT is a case of same opponent different title for Dennis Hogan for the second time in a week and the third time since his July 6 clash was confirmed.

Hogan Sunday manatee clash with undefeated prospect ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Moxon was originally meant to be for the IBF top 15 ranked fighters Australian title, before it was upgraded to an NABF title bash.

However, the fighters will now battle it out for the WBA Oceania light middleweight title in Melbourne.

A WBA statement released today reads:

The WBA Oceania Super Welterweight Title headlines a Sunday afternoon card in Melbourne on 6 July 2014. Ballarat boxer, ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Moxon has 5 wins with an impressive 4 K.O’s. He will need all his power against Denis ‘Hurricane’ Hogan who has been going from strength to strength since capturing the Australian Middleweight title in March this year. Both boxers will fiercely protect their undefeated records as they look to capture the WBA Oceania Regional Belt.
