He famously backed ‘main man’ Carl Frampton to ‘knock Scott Quigg out’ in the past, but Eddie Hearn is now backing the Bury native to surprise the Belfast fighter.

Hearn claims Quigg, who fights under his Matchroom banner, is ‘hitting harder than ever’ and is ready to defeat the IBF champion in Manchester on Saturday night.

The Matchroom boss is confident the WBA World champion will show they kind of ring intellect that Frampton has questioned before going on to win a fight being billed as a 50/50 clash.
