Hanney will have to wait to make his MGM debut

Jake Hanney will have to wait to make his European and indeed MGM debut after being forced out of a scheduled bout this weekend.

The 4-0 welterweight was due to start a new chapter of his career in Preston this Saturday night, but a hand injury has ruled him out.

The Dublin, who won Australian Prospect and Young Fighter of the Year when pushing his way to 4-0 in Oz, hurt his hand sparring in Marbella and felt it best not to risk it on the small hall show this weekend.

The 24 year old prospect is confident he won’t be out to long and will be hopeful that MGM debut might come on the planed National Stadium Boxnation Broadcast November 7 show.
