Graphic Images – Katie Taylor Shares Avatar Pics
The first images of how Katie Taylor will look in the first boxing game to come out in a decade have been released.
Made by developers Steel City interactive ‘Esports Boxing Club’ has been in the works for over two years. The game is the first officially licensed boxing game since EA’s Fight Night Champion, which was released back in March 2011 – and some of the biggest names in the sport past and present will feature on it, including Taylor.
The Irish Icon was confirmed as a playable boxer last year and her character’s graphics were shared last week.
Former Taylor foes Jessica McCaskill, Natasha Jonas and Delfine Persoon have also signed up to be involved as has Taylor’s greatest of all-time rival Claressa Shields. It will be interesting to see how each is rated and particularly to how the figures attributed to Taylor and Shields compare.
Fans got to have a glimpse of how the undisputed lightweight champion of the world will look in the game, as Taylor shared images of her character late last week.

A release date is currently unknown as the company continues to gather more licenses and create more game modes. It was to be released late last year but there has been delays. The game is set to be released for all gaming platforms from Xbox/One, PS4/5 and PC.
