Jamie Kavanagh is planning to be brilliant as he returns to the ring on the same fight card as the great El Terrible.
The Wild Card 21 year old goes big in Texas fighting on the under card of legend Erik Morales’ bout with Danny Garci, and is planning an impressive return to winning ways.
Irish Boxing’s Golden Boy was admittedly below par when he registered a draw against Ramesis Gill in his last outing.
However, plans right some boxing wrongs in a six round match against Florida’s Cesar Cisneros tomorrow night.
“I want to show my better side on Saturday. I don’t think I showed how good I am last time. I am planning to show my qualities this time,” Kavanagh told www.irish-boxing.com.
I was a bit nervous in the last fight I didn’t know i was on Sky untill the last minute when they came and told me in the dressing room. That is all behind me now and I will start to move forwards and upwards now.”
The draw is behind ‘The Nuisance’ and he is now looking forward to causing trouble on such a high profile card.
“I am just looking forward to getting back in the ring. I will be back to winning ways on Saturday. It is a great card to be on. The great Morrales and Castillo are fighting on the same card. It’s nice to be apart of that.”
