Geraghty: I could have fought for Celtic title but everyone is avoiding me

Declan Geraghty returns to the venue he collected a host of amateur titles on Saturday night a little frustrated he hasn’t been afforded the chance to win his first pro belt.

‘Pretty Boy’, who hopes to push his record to 11-1 Laszlo Fekete with victory in the National Stadium on the Clash of the Clans card, was offered the chance to fight for a Celtic title, but couldn’t find eligible opposition.

The former two time senior Champion claims his team offered the fight to a number of fighters from Ireland, Wales and Scotland, but all rebuffed the offer.

The 24 year old, however, is confident he will collect belts this year and when speaking to Irish-boxing.com also talked about his fight this weekend and more.
