Gallagher joins WSB
Gleann BC fighter Paddy Gallagher has joined the Mumbai Fighters in this year’s World Series of Boxing (WSB).
The Mumbai Fighters have unveiled their power-packed team which includes 17 top-class pugilists, comprised of 13 Indian and 4 foreign boxers one of which is Irish.
Gallagher joins reputed names such as Akhil Kumar, Balbir Singh, Jitender Kumar and Diwakar Prasad from India as well as Paul Koon (USA), Trent Rawlins (AUS).
The 69kg Commonwealth Gold medallist follows the likes of Kenneth Egan, Con Sheehan and John Joe Nevin into the ground breaking competition.
