Fury and Klitschko to rematch in Aviva on June 4?
Peter Fury yesterday said the UK and the UAE were winning the race to hold the Tyson Fury versus Wladamir Klitschko rematch, however it seems Dublin remains an option.
A host of possible venues have been put forward for the repeat between the new and the dethroned champ heavyweight champion of the World, including a cruise ship.
Respected journalist and boxing columnist Eamon Carr last week revealed that discussions had taken place between Fury’s promoter Mick Hennessy, Klitschko’s management group and Irish promotion company MCD with an eye for the rematch to take place in the Irish capital on June 4th.
The respective teams may have held similar discussions with a host of venues, but Irish-boxing,com are lead to believe Dublin and the Aviva Stadium remains an option and Fury, who has always expressed a desire to fight at Croke Park, is more than keen on the idea.
