Fury: I will retire if Rogan defeats me

Tyson Fury has said he will hang up his gloves if he fails to defeat his former hero Martin Rogan in their massive Irish heavyweight fight on April 14.
The 23 year old man mountain claims a loss to ‘wee cuddlyRogie’ would leave him no where to go in the game and with retirement as hisonly option.
However, the formerBritish and Commonwealth champion, who revealed Rogan was his favourite fighterwhen he started out in the pro game, is adamant defeat is unfathomable.
“Martin Rogan will not have a chance on April 14. To behonest at 40 years of age he can’t beat me. You might call him “Big Rogie’ overhere but to me he is ‘wee cuddly Rogie,’ Fury said at yesterday’s highlyentertaining press conference.
“If I can’t beat Martin Rogan I have no chance of winning aworld title. If he beat me I would be going nowhere anyway. What wouldKlitschko do to me then? Put his fist through me. If a 23 year old man can’tbeat a 40 year old fighter he would have to retire. If he beats me I will go tohis house and shine his shoes for a living.”
The Manchester based fighter claims he has already been tohell in back in the gym to ensure victory. The pugilist often critisised forcoming into fights out of shape looks fitter than every and stressed he isputting in the hard toil ahead of a fight which seems to mean a lot to him.
“I am going to go come here in perfect shape, perform to thebest of my ability and climb up the world championship ladder. To be honest Ihave gone into fights in the past not in 100 percent condition physically andmentally. Now I am 100 percent focused on becoming heavyweight champion of theworld. Martin Rogan is my way . He is stopping my family from eating. When youstand in the way of a 6’9 man 19 stone, who has shut himself away fromeverything and has been training like a demon, your in trouble. I won’t haveseen my family for 15 weeks by the time the fight comes I am making sure MartinRogan takes nothing away from me.”
