FULL FIGHT: Jono Carroll’s stylish Scottish win
Jono Carroll moved to 13(1)-0 at the weekend in Scotland with one of his best performances yet.
The Dunshaughlin super featherweight took on Spaniard Juan Luis Gonzalez on the MGM Scotland ‘Lights Out’ card at the Paisley Lagoon Leisure Centre.
His first fight under new trainer Danny Vaughn, King Kong showed brilliant shot-selection throughout and claimed a comfortable 79:73 win.
His third fight in quick succession since joining MGM, southpaw Carroll will look to be stepped up in the new year.
