French test next month for Marco McCullough

Marco McCullough is planning to get straight back onto the title trail after his shock defeat to Zoltan Kovacs in July. The Belfast man makes his return to the ring on October 16th in Edinburgh and will take on a credible opponent, Frenchman Adel Hadjouis.

McCullough [12(8)-2(1)] will be aiming to become the first man to stop Hadjouis [7(0)-5(0)]. The rugged Gaul recently brought English prospect, Reece Bellotti, the distance. Ahead of the fight, McCullough has promised that he will learn from his recent loss and that he will come back even stronger and more determined than ever.

The bout forms part of the undercard for ‘Lift-Off’ at the Meadowbank Arena in the Scottish capital. The Cyclone promoted card will be headlined by Anto Cacace’s Celtic super featherweight title fight against Ronnie Clark, and the homecoming of Scottish Olympian Josh Taylor. Also featuring on the show will be Cyclone prospect, Josh ‘The Punisher’ Pritchard.
