Frampton responds to ‘copy cat’ Quigg
CARL Frampton has laughed of copy cat Scott Quiggs recent remarks.
The Matchroom fighter told Sky he had the beating of the IBF World champion and claimed the Irish boxing star represented the easiest challenge in terms of the super bantamweight World champions.
Frampton scoffed at the suggestions from a fighter some suggest he will fight in a massive clash this Summer and claimed Quigg is just reguritating words used by Frampton in recent times.
“He has been doing this for two to three years. I say something in an interview and he repeats it two to three weeks later,” Frampton told the Belfast Newsletter.
βI said recently that he was my easiest fight for the biggest purse – and that included fights with Rigondeaux, Santa Cruz and Avalos.
βHe has been copying me for years and he really should start saying something original and start thinking on his feet – but imitation is the greatest form of flattery,β he added.
