Frampton promises to turn doubters into followers

Carl Frampton is being backed by most to win a close fight with Scott Quigg on Saturday night, but personally believes that there are still a doubters out there.

However, he has promised to win the naysayers over with a wow-inducing display in the Manchester Arena Sky PPV mega fight.

‘The Jackal’ arrived in the North of England yesterday and is itching to get into the ring to finally prove he is better than Scott Quigg and as a result show he is the best the UK and Ireland have to offer at the weight.

“It has been a long time coming. I have been after this fight for four and a half, maybe five years. To be here and only a couple of days away – I’m like a kid at Christmas.”

“I’ve wanted this fight for a long time. I want to prove I am the best super-bantamweight in the UK and the only way I can do that is by beating Scott Quigg.

“There are still some doubters but this is going to be the fight where people sit up and say ‘Wow, Frampton can fight’ and those doubters will start following me, I promise.”
