Frampton promises to win for the fans who can’t get tickets
Tickets for Carl Frampton’s World title fight with Scott Quigg are more stardust than golddust – as impossible to get as they are desired.
Third party legal ticket selling companies (or legal touts as some have labeled them) have snapped up a host of tickets, which are currently being sold at ‘VIP’ prices, amounts way out of your average boxing fans reach.
‘The Jackal’s’ personal allocation have gone to regular followers who have purchased tickets of his father over the years, while another bunch sold by the Manchester Arena were gone in 10 minutes last Friday morning.
It has proved frustrating for followers of Irish boxing and the IBF champion and the Belfast fighter himself is disappointed.
Indeed, Frampton has promised to beat Scott Quigg in Manchester on February 27 for those fans who couldn’t get tickets.
The down to earth star took to twitter to say:
I am extremely disappointed for all those fans who couldn’t get a ticket for #FramptonQuigg especially those with flights and accommodation

I am also extremely disappointed that secondary ticket selling sites have got their hands on so many. This should be prevented — Carl Frampton (@RealCFrampton) November 21, 2015
It may not mean much to some but I will dedicate this win to all travelling fans who couldn’t get a ticket.
