Carl Frampton [23(14)-0] has moved down the sport’s worldwide pond-for-pound rankings for a second time this month.

‘The Jackal’ has slipped down to #9 with the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board, the sport’s authoritative voice in terms of rankings. The change came after the board’s members installed Ukrainian Vasyl Lomachenko at #7 in light of Hi-Tech’s bamboozling win over Jamaican heavy-hitter Nicholas Walters

The move comes three weeks following Frampton’s initial fall from #7 to #8 that came after Manny Pacquiao’s re-entry to the ladder.

The Belfast man entered the pound-for-pound ratings during the Summer at #7 in the wake of his win over Leo Santa Cruz.

Frampton remains the #1 ranked featherweight and would need to defeat the current #2, South African Simpiwe Vetyeka, to become champion of the division.

The TBRB P4P Top Ten in full is as follows:
1. Roman Gonzalez
2. Andre Ward
3. Sergey Kovalev
4. Manny Pacquiao
5. Terence Crawford
6. Gennady Golovkin
7. Vasyl Lomachenko
8. Juan Francisco Estrada
9. Carl Frampton
10. Saul Alvarez
