Top Pro Gif Ad
There will be a busy few months ahead for Irish Tommy Carter [1(0)-1(0)].

The middleweight of Drogheda descent grabbed his first win at the weekend, outpointing Nick Golubs, and now has FOUR fight-dates lined up, including some cross-country trips.

First up next Friday is a trip to Bournemouth and the Sir David English Sports Centre for a fight with MH Legg [2(1)-1(0)].

Them on September 23rd there is a step-up to six rounds and a clash with Tey Lynn Jones [4(0)-0] at the Civic Hall in Grays, Essex

The Tideswell boxer, who craves a fight in Ireland, will fight for a fourth time in September on the 30th, taking on Sonny Lee [1(0)-0] in Newport, Wales.

After three fights in the away corner, Carter will then be back on home turf on November 11th at the Bowlers Exhibition Centre in Manchester, where he will feature on a third consecutive Kieran Farrell-promoted show against a to-be-confirmed opponent.

It is an encouraging level of activity for the 21 year old who will, all going well, have had six fights in the first five months of his professional career.

While he will be an underdog for many of these fights, Carter will not enter them in journeyman mode, and will be aiming to build a winning streak.
