Foley secures WBA Asian title shot

DARRAGH Foley could add the WBA Asian lightweight title to the Australian strap that already sits proudly around his waist with victory in the aptly named Punchbowl on July 4.

The 25 year old southpaw, another Irish fighter on the up Down Under, fights Joebert Delos Reyes (13-5-1) early next month.

The Perth based fighter has accumulated a 5-0 record since debuting in Oz back in 2013 and could take a serious career stride forward with victory on the ‘Explosive Fightcard’.

Claiming the WBA continental strap could see the undefeated prospect move into the WBA lightweight World top 15.
