Fifth fight announced for MGM November 7th Dublin show
The MGM-promoted card at Dublin’s National Stadium on November 7th is starting to shape up nicely. The bill will be topped by Belfast super flyweight Jamie Conlan who also headlined MGM’s previous Dublin show on July 4th – beating Junior Granados in a fight of the year contender.
Currently announced for the undercard are: Peter McDonagh and Dean Byrne who will clash for the Irish welterweight title, cruiserweights Ian Tims and Michael Sweeney who renew hostilities for the Celtic title. and Dublin heavyweight KO king Sean Turner.
Now it has emerged that Belfast super featherweight Ciaran McVarnock [4(0)-0-1] will also feature on the card, with the 23 year old confirming the news on social media
‘Bunty’ last fought on the ‘Lights Out at the Plaza’ MGM show last month in Spain where he was held to an exciting draw by José Acero. Hindered by lack of preparation for that fight, McVarnock will now aim to return to winning ways in Dublin and continue his pro apprenticeship.
MGM’s return to Dublin will be televised exclusively live on Boxnation TV.
