Euro squad confirmed

Irelands senior team for the upcoming European Championships in Liverpool was confirmed at the weekend following a special box off series at the National Stadium.
In the absence of Olympic medallists Ken Egan, Darren Sutherland and Paddy Barnes the stage was set for Eamon OKane and Darren ONeill to stake their claim for selection. The duo took the opportunity, sealing the middleweight and light-heavyweight berths respectively.
The 11 squad in full:
Declan Geraghty, Conor Ahern, Ryan Lindberg, Carl Frampton, Ross Hickey, John Joe Joyce, Willie McLoughlin, Eamon OKane, Darren ONeill, Con Sheehan and David Joyce will travel to the November event.
