EU Championships Day 3 – Irish times and live stream
Three Irish fighters will look to guarantee bronze medals today at the EU Championships in Italy.
There has been a change to the programme in Cascia, meaning that three and not one will fight for medals this afternoon.
First up at 3:45pm (Irish time) is Belfast bantam Michaela Walsh. She takes on Molovan Iulia Coroli for bronze, although there are unanswered questions as to why her opponent is competing in the tournament as Moldova is neither an EU nor an EU Candidate country.
At 5:00pm it is the turn of Dubliner Kelly Harrington who will be hoping to bag her first major medal at lightweight when she takes on Ditteajaaja Frostholm.
Then, in her opening fight of the tournament, Offaly welter Gráinne Walsh will look to claim her first ever international medal when she takes on Welshwoman Louise Price at 5:45pm.
