By Jonny Stapleton

Emerald Promotions boxing gems glistened under the ring lights in the Emerald Road House last Saturday night- and it won’t be long before the new promotional outfit will have their jewels on display again.

Emerald plan to bring ‘Big Bang’ Willie Casey and co to Dublin in April.

Having put on the first Irish show of the year last weekend  the promotional outfit plan to feed boxing starved Dublin fight fans a Spring fight menu. Willie Casey hopes to challenge for a title on the proposed show, whilst Ray Ginley, Mark Ginley, Gerard Healy, Anthony Cacace and Joe Hillerby should all appear.

Nothing has been officially confirmed as of yet, but its encouraging to hear someone is considering bringing a pro show to Dublin.

“We are looking at going again in Dublin in April. We can’t confirm anything just yet but we are confident it will happen,” promoter Chris Graham explained.

“It is new camp but Emerald Promotions are here for the boys and we will back them all the way. We know they have the talent the Irish boxing gems are all here at Emerald.”

Graham a former professional boxer, who trained in the Bernard Ingle gym also revealed Joe Hillerby looks set to be confirmed in the all Irish Prizefighter.

“Joe is in Prizefighter. We have talked with Eddie Hearn and we are just waiting for the contract to come now. Joe is flying at the minute and has a lot going for him. We are also looking at Celtic titles for him.”
