Egan appointed to WADA Comittee
KENNY EGAN has been appointed observer with the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Athlete Committee to give support during its Code Review Process.
The Committee is set-up to represent the views and rights of athletes worldwide. WADA is an international independent agency composed and funded equally by the sport movements and governments of the world.
Its mission is to lead a collaborative worldwide campaign for doping-free sport.
This is the first time that WADA have appointed observers for its Code Review Process.
Along with Egan, Mexican sailor Tania Calles and Canadian rower Andreanne Morin have been appointed as observers.
