Early KO for Paul Hyland Jr in Belfast headline fight

Paul Hyland Jr made extremely light work of opponent Giovanni Gallovich tonight in Belfast.

Headlining the ‘Inquisition’ dinner show at the Europa Hotel, Hyland flattened his Hungarian opponent in just 41 seconds to claim an easy win.

Scheduled for ten rounds, Hyland would end the bout with his first meaningful attack which saw the Central European, who admittedly came out firing, hit the deck following a big uppercut and ensuing flurry that saw the bout waved off.

The early win sees the Lagmore man stretch his record to 14(5)-0, while Gallovich drops to 8(1)-1(1).

Hyland, following a tough training camp, will now hopefully have another fight in the very near future, with promoter Mark Dunlop predicting that we could see him out again by the end of the month.
