Duddy poised to return

John Duddy looks set to return to the ring in March following a long-term legal battle with estranged promoters Irish Ropes.

The unbeaten Derryman must set aside a portion of future purses until a decision is made on whether Duddy or Irish Ropes are entitled to the payments.

Duddy, who has been knocking on the door of a world title shot for the best part of two years, now hopes to make up for lost time when he returns to his training camp in New York this week.
