Disappointment for Keeler at Prizefighter

There was disappointment for Luke Keeler on Saturday night after the Ballyfermot fighter lost out to Tom Doran in the Semi Final of Prizefighter ‘The Middleweights.’

Keeler, the pre-tournament favourite, won his opening bout against Luke Crowcroft by a unanimous decision – 29-28 on all three judges scorecards.

Keeler then went on to face Tom Doran who had beaten Craig Cunningham in the quarter final by a unanimous decision.

The Celtic Warrior fighter was said to have injured his right hand in the first fight, however he didn’t look too uncomfortable and landed some big shots against Doran.

The three round bout was tight and could have went either way but the three judges gave the decision to Doran by 29-28.
