Dennis Hogan claims the NABA USA title

KILDARE’S Dennis Hogan is the new NABA USA light middleweight champion.

The Oz based fighter, who is now unbeaten in 22 fights, recorded a unanimous points win over the big punching Tyrone Brunson in Massachusetts in the early hours of Saturday morning (Irish Time).

Most ringside felt the bout was close, but the Hurricane as afforded a quite 96-94, 98-92, 97-93 margin.

The Australian and Oceanic champion could now add a WBA top 10 ranking to the IBF World ranking he already has.
