Dee Walsh see off noble Noble effort to make it 2-0

IRISH fight fan’s gaze may have firmly been focused on events in Denmark last night, as WBA super middleweight interim champ Brian Magee retained his title, but another Belfast boxer also registered impressive victory in the squared circle on Saturday.
Dee Walsh scored a 39-37 points win over Lee Noble on the under card of Kid Galahad and Jason Booth’s clash to make it two fights unbeaten for the novice pro.

‘Waldo’ certainly didn’t go missing on a fight night, on which Martin Rogan and Tyson Fury was officially announced for April 14 in Belfast, and defeated the experienced English man in Rotherham, Sheffield to progress his career further.

Facing and defeating an pro who has shared the ring with the likes Martin Murray, Billy Joe Saunders and even Ciaran Healy is a significant for the Gary Hyde managed 22 year old.
