Dublin super bantamweight Carl McDonald makes his professional debut next weekend, and the former Intermediate Champion will begin against Polish opposition.

The Tallaght fighter boxes on the undercard of the MHD Promotions ‘Another Level’ show at the Europa Hotel on Saturday October 8th.

McDonald will face Poland’s Kamil Jaworek [3(1)-2(1)] on his paid bow over four rounds.

The Pole has gone the distance with French prospect Georges Leroy, while he was stopped in the third by Michael Ramabeletsa on his only visit to Britain or Ireland.

McDonald is part of a seven-fight bill alongside gym-mate Jay Byrne, Scot Ronnie Clarke, Derry’s Tyrone McCullagh, Coalisland’s Feargal McCrory, Dub Ian Tims, and headliner Paul Hyland Jr who takes a step up to face Felix Lora.
