Debut opponent confirmed for ‘The Iceman’ Keane McMahon

Keane McMahon will make his professional debut next week in Dublin, and the 22 year old welterweight is beginning with a test.

‘The Iceman’ will start in a four rounder against game Bulgarian Aleksandar Chukaleyski [2(0)-13(6)-1].

The Sofia scrapper has Irish previous, facing Belfast Matt Wilton in Dublin back in November 2015. In this four rounder at the Red Cow Moran Hotel, Chukaleyski endeared himself to fans with a game and aggressive showing in which he shared a round en-route to a 40:37 points loss.

In his most recent fight, the Eastern European was stopped in the third round by new Steve Goodwin prospect Lewis Syrett at the York Hall.

The May 27th card, the largest in Irish boxing history, also features Eric Donovan, Jay Byrne, Mike Perez, Stephen Carroll, JJ McDonagh, Sean Creagh, Vladimir Belusjky, Rohan Date, Lynn Harvey, Allan Phelan, Gerard Whitehouse, Carl McDonald, as well as debutants Liam Gaynor, John Joyce, Regan Buckley, Johnny Corcoran, Stephen McAfee, and Keane McMahon.

Tickets for Celtic Clash 2 are priced at €15 (Under 15s), €30, €40, €45, and €55 (Premium), and are available from the boxers involved.
