Debut date confirmed for Dylan Moran

Dylan Moran has been handed a debut date for the new year.

The Dungarvan welterweight has turned pro under young promoter Kieran Farrell and Moran, 22 earlier this week, confirmed that he will make his paid bow on a show in Manchester on Friday April 14th.

Moran boxed underage in Waterford before turning to kickboxing in his late teens. Following success in this sport, he has linked up with Farrell, whom he has known since his teenage years.

A venue for the card has not yet been confirmed, and while it could be assumed that it will most likely take place at the Bowlers Exhibition Centre, there is talk that the bill will take at a larger location..

Farrell has plans to run a show in Belfast next Autumn, with Moran in line to make his Irish debut on this card.

Moran has promised that he will “announce his arrival as he always does, with devastating power precision and style.”

“Boxing is about to get a new king.”
