Dean Byrne next bout is a title fight
Dean Byrne has finally secured a break through fight and could secure a world ranking if he cashes in Monaco this coming February.
Irish Lightning’ hopes to strike boxing gold by beating undefeated Russian Roman Belaev in a WBA intercontinental title.
Claiming the strap would go a long way to securing Byrne a World ranking and would at the very least enable him to take fights on his own terms.
The former Wild Card fighter has promised to do his very own Rocky IV number on the fighter with 10 knock outs in 12 straight wins.
Speaking to Irish-boxing.com the former Freddie Roach trained fighter, now based in London said,
“This is a great fight for me and could prove brilliant for Irish boxing. I am going to break this Russian down and complete my very own Rocky Story.”
