1994: Neil Sinclair and James Webb took home Commonwealth gold from the Games in Victoria, Canada.
Belfast welterweight banger Sinclair stopped all three of his opponents en-route to the final, with early wins over Scot Alan Wolecki, Welshman Carl Thomas, and Aussie Richard Rowless. In the decider Sinky outpointed Nigerian Albert Eromsole 25:16.
Belfast light middle ‘Spider’ Webb coasted into the final with a 14:5 win over Aussie Sean Connell and a walkover against Rival Cadeau of the Seychelles. In the final he defeated Samoan Bob Gasio 10:4 and famously cried during the medal ceremony as team doctor Sean Donnelly sang Danny Boy.
