DARREN Cruise wants to right what he see’s as a boxing wrong in Belfast on May 10.
The Roscommon puncher wants John Hutchinson revenge and wants a return with the Buncrana Banger.
Recent Irish title challenger Hutchinson registered a debut 59-55 points win over Cruise in Royal Theatre, Castlebar,in August of 2012. The Roscommon 24 year old disputes the result and since returning to the ring after taking a year out to train for the Army in an unfortunate technical draw with Robbie Long, Cruise wants another shot at the Donegal native.
“John Hutchinson did not beat me when we fought. He knows he didn’t beat me. I want to fight him again and prove he is not the fighter I am,” Cruise told Irish-boxing.com
“That fight has played on my mind ever since and I feel now is the right time to set the record straight. I would have no problem fighting him on May 10 in Belfast, but I don’t believe he will take the fight.”
