Danny Cassius Connor rejects fight with Phil Sutcliffe Jr

MGM fighter Danny Cassius Connor has revealed that he has turned down a fight with Crumlin knockout artist Phil Sutcliffe Jr.

Englishman Connor [15(2)-9(1)-2], is a former BBBoC Southern Area Champion and Prizefighter champion.

The 30 year old cites a lack of money offered to get in the ring with the heavy-handed Irishman, describing the offer on social media as comparable to “a pack of peanuts and a banana.”

“I’ve lost more money running for the bus.”

Sutcliffe [9(6)-1(0)] fights in Oldham on July 2nd as he looks to bounce back from his sole career loss to European #2 Anthony Yigit last month.

‘Succo’s’ manager Pat Magee has stated his desire to secure a British foe for his much-avoided charge, hence the inquiry into Connor.
