Dan McShane promising massive changes ahead of ring return
Irish fight fans may not recognise Daniel McShane [9(3)-1(1)] when he returns to the ring in Belfast on April 22nd.
McShane hasn’t got plastic surgery or changed his appearance dramatically, rather he has made massive changes under the guidance of new coach Martin Rogan.
The fighter, who hasn’t fought since February 2015, is back training with the former Commonwealth champion as his mentor and, has not only promised a take over, has also warned fans to ready themselves for a ring makeover.
The 24 year old Belfast fighter is excited by the work he has done with ‘Big Rogie’ and predicts massive differences ahead of the Kieran Farrell-promoted ‘A New Era’ card at the Devenish Complex.
He told Irish-Boxing.com that “I cant let too much slip, but I can say that there will be a massive difference in me. I am learning in every training session now you will see a different Danny Boy in the ring.”
“I’m here strictly for business, outside the ring will there be a change? Well that’s for everyone to come along to fight night on April 22nd to fight out,” said the fighter with the most unique ring walk in Irish boxing.
“I’ve been working on a lot, and when I say a lot, I could be here all night telling you. I’ve never really done strength and conditioning in my career and that is now on board. I’ve been working on my boxing skills to better my mistakes in the past and that’s all I am allowed to give away right now!”
